The Jaared Sen Quartet

With the publication of the third book in the series, the popular Jaared Sen Quartet should be completed later this year when Dead Silent is released.

Death in Amber by Dean FetzerBased around blind detective Jaared Sen, a Contractor for the Company, the novels mix historical thriller with a near future London. Death in Amber, the first book in the series, concerns the location of the lost treasure, the Amber Room. Stolen from St Petersburg by the Nazis and missing since the second World War, the location of the famous room has drawn a great deal of speculation and treasure hunters continue to hunt its location to this day.

Death After Midnight by Dean FetzerThe second book, Death After Midnight involves the mysterious village of Rennes-le-Chateau in southern France and the stranges activities of its former priest, Bérenger Saunière and his housekeeper. Theories about the village and the location of the Holy Grail abound. Needless to say, Jaared has his work cut out for him.

Book of the Dead by Dean FetzerBook of the Dead is Dean’s third novel and centres on a lost manuscript by Giordano Bruno, a 16th century scientist, philosopher and heretic who was burned at the stake by the Catholic Church. The manuscript has come to light and Jaared Sen becomes involved in the hunt for it.

Dead Silent takes up where Book of the Dead left off, with Jaared and his son, Nicholas, looking for the boy’s mother in Edinburgh. Be prepared for a rollercoaster ride of a finale!

About Dean

Born in a small town in Colorado, and a voracious reader of mysteries and science fiction, Dean started writing around the age of twelve. Mostly short stories, bad poetry and the odd novella appeared.

His work in technical theatre carried on, lighting and set design getting him involved in a number of theatrical and operatic productions in the Boulder and Denver area, as well as working with Consenting Adults Theatre Company in Washington D.C.

He came to the UK for an appearance in the famous Fringe Festival and never really left, living in Edinburgh for a time. After a brief time in Washington D.C., he returned to the UK and found himself working for a large telecoms company in London.

He and a friend started in the 90′s and left the telecoms company.

He now lives in East London with his wife Debra and their two cats, and travels as much as time will allow.
